With a rich history of motorsports, the Alpine brand was revived by Renault in 2017 and inherited many attributes of its ancestors. The A110 S takes performance as the design concept and has a body similar to the A110 GT. It uses the same four-head lamp layout with a circular aperture. Its pin nose has a characteristic central rib that runs through the trunk lid from the bumper to the windshield. On the tarmac, the automaker placed a wide black grille flanked by a pair of spoons to direct air to the sides of the vehicle. Therefore, they reduced the drag coefficient. The S logo decorated on the side sills and the rear of the car guarantees a sporty experience. The automaker also installed a functional wing at the rear of the vehicle that can generate 81 kg (179 lb) of downforce for high-speed cornering situations. However, even if it has a mid-mounted engine, it does not have the side shovel that other automakers like. Inside, a pair of sports bucket seats with integrated headrests and high cushions are embroidered with Alpine emblems on the front of the seat backs. The automaker placed an aluminum strip on the dashboard, passing through the panel from side to side, and at the top of the central stack, placed the infotainment display. As an option, a microfiber bag and racing seat add more style to the interior. Behind the cockpit, the automaker placed the same 1.8-liter turbocharged engine with a power of up to 300 horsepower (304 ps), paired with a seven-speed automatic (dual clutch) transmission. Its 44:56 weight distribution allows predictive oversteer car behavior.
