The 2022 Rochester Cocktail Revival, New York State's only weeklong festival celebrating craft cocktail culture, is back for its ninth year. Rochester boasts a booming scene of cocktail bars and top-tier mixology talent. Each year, 20+ cocktail bars in the downtown area take part in RCR, showcasing the spirit brands that make the exciting local craft culture possible. RCR exists to highlight this culture through education and celebration, significant contributions to the Rochester economy, and displays of camaraderie between its bars to both the trade and consumers.
This year, the Rochester Cocktail Revival is set for June 6-12, 2022 with a full schedule of events (21 and older) happening at different host bars and special event locations around Rochester. Participating bars include: Bar Bantam, Bitter Honey, Branca Midtown, The Cub Room, Cheshire, Cure, The Daily Refresher, Good Luck, Grace & Disgrace, Lento, Locals Only, Lucky's, Nox, The Owl House, Ox & Stone, Radio Social, Recreo, Redd, The Revelry, Roux, Swan Dive, Tapas 177, Velvet Belly, and Vern's.
The George Eastman Museum's West Garden provides a whimsical setting for guests to sip Italian-inspired cocktail creations, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, listen to live music, commission a custom poem, play lawn games, and more.

A phantasmagoric prom backdropped with trappings of magic, mysticism and apothecary-inspired cocktails featuring live music from The Televisionaries, DJ Daggz, and DJ Pro. Pin on a corsage and take a classic prom photo with your date, then compete for your spot on Prom Court! Sample cocktails from three unique bars, cheeseboards by Fromage & Friends, and hors d'oeuvres by Folk Catering; cut up the dance floor; enjoy a live dance performance from Kanbern; and have your fortune told. Taste through more than 30 spirit brands, including national and New York State distillers. Sample an expansive variety of craft spirits – the toolkit of the RCR bartenders – along with non-spirit vendors and hands-on activities like candle pouring and printmaking.
Entry includes samples of up to 16 spirits and an educational seminar from industry expert Maxwell Britten.
RCR Super Sound will feature Extra Life Music with Matt + Chris O'Brian & Friends - the brothers behind popular locally grown acts Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Thunder Body, Lightning Skeleton and more - for a night of vibesational sonic collaboration.
Matt and Chris O'Brian have been playing music together for more than two decades. Hear new original material, old favorites, and maybe some fun covers as a slew of friends and family joins them on stage.

Rochester Cocktail Revival bartenders from around the city will go shaker-to-shaker in the annual Bar Room Battle Royale, but only one will claim mixology supremacy. Event ticket includes the Bar Ninja competition, spirit tasting tables and samples. Cash bar with drink specials and bar snacks will also be available, all set to a live DJ soundtrack.
A portion of all proceeds from Rochester Cocktail Revival will benefit Cancer Support Community Rochester—a local non-for-profit that annually provides free programming to men, women, teens, and children who are affected by cancer.
