CHARLOTTE, NC — Xfinity Racing Series driver Brandon Brown has now embraced the chant inspired by his name by announcing a new sponsorship.

Thursday, Brandonbilt Motorsports announced a cryptocurrency sponsor will hop aboard Brown's number 68 Chevrolet Camero in 2022 full-time.,

The cryptocurrency "LGB coin" will be on the side of his car, which stands for "let's go Brandon."

It was at the 2021 Sparks 300 at Talladega, Alabama when he drove the family-owned Brandonbilt Motorsports Xfinity car to the win, and it was on the front stretch that his name would become inextricably linked to politics when a female reporter misheard "f--- Joe Biden" as "let's Go Brandon."

Brown acknowledges that the journey to this sponsorship was tumultuous.

"Having the financial support of LGBcoin is incredible, especially at such a pivotal time in our team's growth as we work to build to the next level of competition," said Brown in a press release. "From wondering if we would have the financial means to continue to compete, to my first major win at Talladega no less, to becoming an unintentional meme, this past season was a rollercoaster. The support of sponsors like LGBcoin empowers us to be as competitive as possible and I'm looking forward to competing hard on the track in 2022."

The sponsor itself says they are happy to support Brown.

"Brandon is not only an incredibly talented driver, but also a thoughtful individual wise beyond his years. His commitment and singular focus on his profession is inspiring and his personal story is one that we can all be proud of—an American story of success and perseverance. Brandon is truly America's Driver," said James Koutoulas, LGBcoin HODLer and founder of Typhoon Capital Management.

It will first be on the car at Daytona International Speedway in February, 2022.
