The Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the help of the title sponsor Metal Solutions, held the 2nd Annual Clay Shoot  at Moss Creek Ranch.

"We were excited to be welcomed back by Moss Creek Ranch for our clay shoot. The day was perfect weather and it appears everyone had a good time in the process," Debbye ValVerde, Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, said. "This event has turned out to be a success the past two years, and we are excited to see it grow. "

This year's event brought out 17 teams competing for the top spot. The 2022  1st Place Team is Cotton Patch Farms. The team is made up of the following members:  Danny Peugh, Larry Romine, Jimmy Bridges, and Casey Shands.

The tournament results ended with the   2nd Place Team being Vital Care Urgent Care. This team is made up of Gaylon Rogers, Devin Knapp, Travis Preble, and Aerianna Preble. The  3rd Place Team was the 4H Group. Team members included: Dustin Gaskins, Wiley Gaskins, Colt Woodall, and Landon Kelley.

"It was a great day for a Clay Shoot!! Not too hot, slight breeze and lots of clays busting and shells flying! A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the clay shoot. Sponsors, teams, and more importantly the volunteers we could not have done this without you," ValVerde said.  "The Chamber has these non-dues events to help us continue to promote and advertise what our members are doing."
