December 7th-Angel trees are a great way to share love during this holiday. Some local companies are hosting angels in need. If you want to participate in this amazing tradition of selflessness, here are two reasons to consider.

The Athens City Center Branch of the First State Bank is hosting the only tree that will benefit all foster children in Henderson County. The age ranged from one month to 18 years old, and each of them told their adoptive parents their wish list.

FSB Vice President Kim Hodges said: "These children have been transferred from the only family they know and are taken care of by foster parents." "We don't have enough adoptive parents in Henderson County. These children are placed in Texas. Foster families in Sri Lanka and neighboring states. This tree is important because we let them express their wishes, and our goal is to make these wishes come true."

The program allows mothers to maintain their dignity and self-worth, and allows children to open their eyes on Christmas morning.
