The final visit to the quality label of the European Commission Youth Center took place at the Marienthal Youth Center in Luxembourg from December 1st to 2nd 2021. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the implementation of 15 quality standards by the Youth Center. Quality label held by Marienthal Youth Center since 2018. During the visit, he introduced the changes in the Luxembourg National Youth Service Center (SNJ) where the Marienthal Youth Center operates. The latest teaching concepts of the Luxembourg Youth Center under SNJ were also introduced to the quality labeling expert group. In addition, the staff of the center also introduced recent initiatives and progress made in relation to the recommendations made by the expert group during its first visit in 2017.

As a result of the visit, the quality labeling expert group will make recommendations to the European Youth Steering Committee (CDEJ) to extend the quality label of the Marienthal Youth Center. The final decision will be made at the next CDEJ meeting on March 21, 2022.

Currently, 14 youth centers hold the European Commission Youth Center Quality Label. The Marienthal Youth Center is the first youth center in the history of Luxembourg to be associated with the European Commission Youth Center quality label. Its main mission is to enable young people to acquire the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills to fully realize their potential. This is especially true for their well-being and media literacy. In addition, the center is also engaged in activities in the fields of education for sustainable development and training of young leaders.
