H&M releases the latest innovative circular design story series | Houston Magazine

From 2020 to the present, fashion has made progress in social awareness. From local brands, upcoming brands to larger companies, socially conscious design is becoming the primary consideration. When launching the innovative series this year, H&M announced its fourth phase of its sustainability-focused plan, an innovative circular design story, featuring Houston superstar Normani Kordei as the protagonist.  

The latest collection is inspired by the Circulator tool, in which H&M considers all stages of the clothing creation process, from life expectancy to materials and design strategies. The brand is currently developing this tool to raise social awareness and achieve its goal of achieving climate-friendly by 2040, and all H&M products by 2025 will be designed by Circular. 

The story of innovative circular design ended the year in a minimalist form, celebrating environmentally friendly fashion and joy. The 54-piece collection includes menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories, "embossing the concept of boldly embracing the future." As the brand's most highly customized series in the past, each single product is refined with strong contours, bright colors and rich textiles. From men’s sea blue sequined round necks to women’s shiny neon green spotted dresses, plenty of leather and eye-catching multicolor fur trench coats. 

"Fashion has the power of transformation, activity and empowerment. This series is a tribute to this, and it is also a special excitement when you are ready to go out, before the party, style yourself, and get ready to enter the night with friends. , Full of joy and enthusiasm," said H&M concept designer Ella Soccorsi in a statement. 

In the event called Just Before the Party Starts, creative consultant and stylist Ib Kamara and photographer Rafael Pavorotti wanted to capture optimism and personality, and bring a vibrant and colorful vision to life.

"I am proud to be able to work with H&M to develop a series that is so committed to recycling and positive change, while also embracing style, bold colors, and a great fit. This is a very multi-faceted and rich collection, and it has brought me a A special feeling; Kamara said in a statement: "Be ready, choose your appearance and let yourself become a celebrity excitement and anticipation. " 

To promote the series, H&M collaborated with supermodels Gigi Haded and Kaia Gerber and Kordei. Every celebrity uses social media to promote the upcoming series. On November 15th, Kordei posted himself on a neon blue tight-fitting dress and wrote: “This dress does everything it needs to do. It’s not serious, I think there will be an explosive @hm soon. ."

The series will be launched online on December 9th and in physical stores on December 16.
