2 Naugatuck Liquor Stores Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Seek Suspect | Naugatuck, CT Patch

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are searching for a man they say robbed two Naugatuck liquor stores at gunpoint Friday, according to authorities.

At approximately 6 p.m. Friday, police said an unknown suspect robbed Cork and Keg Liquors, located at 430 Rubber Ave. Witnesses described the suspect as a Black man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue mask.

According to police, the suspect left the store on foot.

An hour later, a suspect matching the same description robbed Cross Point Liquors at 799 New Haven Rd, police said.

Following the first robbery, authorities swept the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
