A balance update is coming to DNF Duel on August 29, 2022 — this upcoming Monday. Based on community perceptions, it's expected that the Swift Master will be on the receiving end of some major nerfs.

In preparation for the patch, SonicSol has released his final tier list for the current version of DNF Duel. Needless to say, it should come as no surprise that the Swift Master is the undisputed best character on this tier list as well.

Under the Swift Master, characters like the Hitman, the Dragon Knight, the Kunoichi, and the Ranger are recognized as being strong as they're in the S tier category. What's interesting is that the S tier category is the most congested of the tier groups, suggesting that the game is actually somewhat balanced aside from the glaring situation with the Swift Master.

Characters occupying the A tier and B tier groups for this list include the Trouble Shooter, the Ghost Blade, the Enchantress, the Inquisitor, the Lost Warrior, and a few others. As such, it's implied that these characters are very "middle of the road" when it comes to viability in DNF Duel.

There's only one fighter that's at the bottom in the C tier group, which indicates that the Launcher is the worst combatant in the game at the moment. Perhaps she'll benefit from some buffs in the upcoming patch.
