Well. The new year is off to a roaring start, isn't it? It's Friday and a sitting president potentially staring down the barrel of a second bout of impeachment is like, the least eye-grabbing headline of the week. Nothing to see here, folks! Keep it moving, please. All par for the course.

If you're looking for a brief respite from the relentless drudgery of the news cycle, why not give the past seven days' best drops a look-see? This week's a doozy—chock full of zany prints, wild patterns, and enough cheery menswear to brighten even the dourest outlooks—and from cozy WFH footwear to baller winter-ready outerwear, the gang's all here! Honestly, I'm starting to get tired of constantly reassuring people things will get better. Why can't they just, I don't know, be better already?

Here's hoping the rest of the year isn't nearly as rocky. It's got to be all downhill from here, right? *Slowly zips fleece all the way up and retreats into jacket*

BIG SAME, BRO. BIG SAME.

More words to live by.

The latest New Balance silhouette, an '80s-inspired riff on the iconic 574, drops tomorrow. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Sure, they might technically be a women's style, but they run big enough to fit the guys, too.

Harris Tweed two ways.

We are the champions, my frieeends!

Still a more compelling use of the pattern than any villain the team behind Wonder Woman 1984 could've cooked up.

Slip on, slip off.

Well, well, well. If it isn't my old friend the chore coat. I'll admit, I thought we were done with each other for the season. Something tells me I was wrong. (Hint: It's this.)

Like something you'd jack from the darkest recesses of your grandpa's closet, but handmade out of fabrics from Japan.

After the holidays, I, too, am what you would call "vastly cut."

Come for the eye-grabbing allover damask pattern, stay for the absolutely bonkers image of the Virgin Mary on the back.

LOL but also...OMG YES?!

The perpetually sold-out bag to invest in now (while supplies last) and then bust out as soon as traveling is, y'know, a thing again.

Brown corduroy is the downright sexy seasonal combination that will never not get me excited it's cold out.

Ditto brown suede, tbh.

Big-ass peak lapels? Check. Swanky patch pockets? Yes, sir. Made in Italy out of a soft melton wool? C'mon. What else could you possibly be looking for?
