Next, they must enter their registered mobile phone number and full name to get a one-time password (OTP). Status can also be shared with friends and followers. When an individual logs into his account on the CoWIN platform, the "shield" will also appear.

By following the same steps, service providers can also verify a person’s vaccination status, but they need the customer’s mobile phone number and full name to do so. This feature is especially useful for people who may not have a vaccination certificate in digital or paper form, so if you really need such a record, you can ask the service provider to follow these steps to verify its status.

CoWIN started service on January 16 this year, when the nationwide vaccination campaign began. It is available in the following languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Assamese, Ancient Gilat and Odiya. The platform is owned and operated by the Federal Ministry of Health.
