Small Business Owners Launch "Magic Rainbow Fluff" Marshmallows | Homer Glen, Illinois Patch

Lockport, Illinois — Robin Curtner, owner of Magical Marketing, helps local customers and small businesses through social media marketing and email campaigns. During the coronavirus pandemic, a Lockport resident said she was guiding her clients and businesses out of their inherent thinking. Now, she decided to accept her suggestion.

Curtner worked with another small business owner, Kristina Magana, who owns I Want Candy in Clarendon Hills to create a new marshmallow series. Known as the magic rainbow fluff, it has the flavors of watermelon, blueberry, green apple, berry melon and lemonade.

"I'm thinking about different things and working with other business owners, especially female business owners," Kirtner said. Her brand image already includes rainbow and "everything is full of sweetness and color".

"The biggest impact is being loud and being there," she said.

Curtner and Magana jointly launched the product in April, and continue to look for confectionery, bakeries or ice cream shops to cooperate.

Magana told Patch that this project is a great opportunity for both women.

"I look forward to spreading the magic rainbow fluff everywhere," she said.

Curtner referred to the marshmallow production line as a "passion project" and said it was a good way to support each other.

Magical Rainbow Fluff can be purchased online or at Creamery in Lemont, Plush Horse in Palos Park or I Want Candy in Clarendon Hills.
